Planimeter is a versatile app that allows users to accurately measure distances, perimeters, and areas on a map. Its features go beyond mere measurement, offering the ability to add stand-alone points and capture photos with location, direction, altitude, and time stamps. The app also provides seamless sharing and exporting options for projects.

While Planimeter can be useful in various scenarios such as measuring construction sites, roofs, lawns, fences, paving, pools, parking lots, fields, and paths, it excels in several key areas:

 <li>Precise control: The app provides real-time information about the planned or measured area as you move the map. It even displays the size of adjacent lines, allowing you to make informed decisions before adding a new point.</li>
 <li>Native Google Maps support: Users can access enhanced zoom-in capabilities with satellite and hybrid maps through seamless integration with Google Maps.</li>
 <li>Customization: Each individual point can have its own color and associated text, audio, and images.</li>
 <li>User-friendly interface: Planimeter allows you to conveniently move points directly on the main map screen or through the dedicated point editor screen. It provides a clear preview of the resulting area, perimeter, or distance before confirming any changes.</li>
 <li>Flexible measurement units: The app offers customizable unit preferences for measurements displayed in feet, meters, miles, or kilometers. Similarly, users can select their preferred area units.</li>
 <li>Advanced mapping capabilities: Planimeter supports various mapping options including offline maps, custom URL maps, and importable maps crafted on PCs or Macs using file formats like mbtiles and sqlitedb. Apple Maps and Google Maps are native features of the app.</li>
 <li>KMZ export and import: This feature enables the transfer of shapes, point collections, and associated images and audio notes. It facilitates seamless collaboration across different devices.</li>

In its basic version, Planimeter allows users to create an unlimited number of points and temporary measurement shapes without any limitations. The Pro Pack upgrade offers additional features:

 <li>Offline and imported maps support</li>
 <li>The ability to save multiple point collections and shapes</li>
 <li>Import and export options for individual points and entire shapes or collections</li>
